TATORT Switzerland "The Blind Spot
For the latest crime scene, we implemented numerous drone works. This time it went far beyond the usual aerial photos. Our team was responsible for setting up and providing all the props around the drones as well as for the precise control of all the flying machines.
We used a total of seven different drone systems for this production, which required an extremely structured and organized way of working on the set. Three of these systems were set up in our LAB specifically for this assignment. The challenge was that some of these drone systems were used very close to people and actors. In some scenes, they even had to land on hands and fly very precisely near faces.
This challenging task required maximum concentration and precision from our team to ensure that everything could be shot smoothly and without incident. The safety of everyone involved had top priority.
Our team is proud to have contributed to this exciting crime scene and look forward to future projects where we can use innovative technologies to push the boundaries of filmmaking.
The drone systems were used as follows:
DJI Inspire 2 -> Filming City of Zurich / Primetower, Hochwachtturm
DJI Mavic -> Film drone in confined spaces
DJI Mini -> Birdwatching drone
FPV drone system 1 -> Weapon drone
FPV drone system 2 -> POV weapon drone
FPV drone system 3 -> Receiving drone from Rumpf
FPV drone system 4 -> Was blown up
