Festival season 2023

The festival season of 2023 was undoubtedly breathtaking, exciting and full of unforgettable moments. Our mission? To provide viewers with a whole new visual experience by capturing innovative drone footage from the hottest festivals in Switzerland. But this year brought a special challenge - the ban on drone footage since January 1, 2023, so how could we keep capturing spectacular images? The answer is: The SORA process

SORA stands for "Specific Operations Risk Assessment" and is a procedure for the safe assessment and execution of drone flights in special environments or for specific tasks. It helps to identify the risks associated with drone flights, define safety measures and ensure that the flights are legally compliant and safe. This process facilitates the safe integration of drones into complex or high-risk situations.

In addition to filming, we streamed individual concerts live, which viewers could then watch on TV.

At a time when drone footage is basically banned, we have shown that it is possible to continue this art form safely and legally. The SORA process with the Federal Office of Civil Aviation allowed us to push our creative boundaries and provide festival-goers with a visual spectacle they will never forget. We look forward to enhancing more festivals in this way in the future and continuing to create exceptional shots that make festival experiences even more memorable.

We have accompanied the following festivals:

  • Moon and Stars

  • Street Parade

  • Frauenfeld Openair

  • Zurich Openair

  • Gurtenfestival

  • Post Festival

  • Hive Air Wohlen

  • NRJ Air
