We did it again!

We once again had the great opportunity to capture spectacular images of a special aviation event: the Airshow 25 on the Hoher Kasten. A show to remember, not only because of its unique location at over 1,700 meters, but also because of the impressive aircraft that transformed the sky over the Alpstein into a stage.

On display were historic vintage cars and aerobatic planes that performed their maneuvers with the utmost precision. Particularly fascinating: the pilots used the topography to show the aircraft not only from above - but also with powerful approaches from below towards the summit. A rare and visually extremely impressive perspective that you hardly ever experience in this way.

The cinematic challenge at such events is enormous, there is no test run, no second chance. Every moment counts, every shot has to be spot on. At the same time, safety has top priority, especially when you are working in the immediate vicinity of running propellers or moving between the crew, machines and technology on the tarmac.

Our superslowmotion shots at close range in particular demand absolute precision and full control. Manual focus tracking, millimeter-precise framing with long focal lengths and fluid camera movements at high speed - no automatic system is reliable here, but pure craftsmanship, experience and concentration are required. It is this mix of technical mastery and passion that makes such images possible.

Such events are rare, so it is all the more special when you can capture them on film in all their fascination. Thanks to our many years of experience with filming in the aviation sector, we know exactly what is important: perfect timing, technical finesse and a sure feel for dynamics and imagery. We are delighted that our film for Airshow 25 has met with such great enthusiasm and confirms once again how powerful well-told aviation moments can be.
