Legal drone flights over crowds, concerts and events

In addition to our SORA certification for flights over populated areas and uninvolved persons, we were the first company in Europe to obtain a second SORA operating permit for drone flights over crowds. This permit allows us to fly our drones legally and insured over concerts, events and crowds throughout Europe.

These operating licenses had to be obtained over the last 14 months in conjunction with the FOCA due to new regulations that were announced in January 2023 and introduced in January 2024. This step is of great importance to us and our customers as it means that we can continue to produce unique content legally and safely.

This permit confirms that our drone operations comply with strict safety standards and have been carefully checked. With the first SORA operating license, we were already able to fly over populated areas and uninvolved persons, but now the second operating license opens up new possibilities.
