Construction documentation with drones
Our drones not only provide breathtaking aerial photographs, they also facilitate and modernize work steps and processes in the construction industry. For example, we were able to fly off and document an industrial roof of around three hectares for a roof builder. The goal: to create documentation of the finished condition for the upcoming warranty acceptance. For this purpose, high-resolution individual images and photogrammetry were created.
What are the advantages of using drones for such applications?
Efficiency: The drone is launched from one point and can cover large areas with flight times of up to 40 minutes.
Flexibility: Especially in the case of roof constructions, not all places are often unsecured and easily accessible. Our drones, on the other hand, can be steered to the point to be documented with centimeter precision and leave no traces.
Quality: High-resolution 45MP images capture every detail. Different optics can be used. In addition, it is possible to create thermography with special thermal imaging cameras.
Measurement: The images created can be combined into a photogrammetry and finally measured. These efficiently created plans make it easier to plan rooftop PV systems, for example.
